The Captain's watch is the whole voting period and never closes. First Mate joins 24 h before each close — the last 1d 0h of a 4d 0h period (25% of it).
How the watches are read
The Captain is read first, for the whole voting period. If the Captain has voted, from their own wallet or through the ship, that is the vote the ship casts. The crew is not looked at.
If the Captain has not voted at all, the ship goes down the list in order, but only Mates whose watch has opened. The first one who has voted is copied. Watches open near the end of voting, so the crew only steps in late.
Someone has to send the copy. Our keepers do it on a schedule, and anyone can do it by hand from this page or from the proposal.
Delegation
2 Nouns vote through this ship right now.
Connect the wallet that holds your Nouns to delegate them here.
What delegating does
Delegating moves your vote, not your Noun. Nothing is transferred and your Nouns stay in your wallet.
It counts for proposals whose voting starts after this transaction, because the governor checks who holds the vote at each proposal's start. You can take it back at any time by delegating again.
