Ecosystem Partnership Proposal
Type: Ecosystem Partnership
Treasury Cost: 0.0001 ETH
Website: nudge.xyz
TL;DR ⌐◨-◨
This proposal establishes a Nudge × Nouns Ecosystem Partnership.
We're not asking for a grant or any treasury funding.
Instead, we're proposing an ongoing partnership where Nudge commits value to the DAO through token allocation and collaboration. If the partnership succeeds, both Nudge and Nouns benefit as we grow together.
Why we're here
Nudge is building a better way for protocols to run incentive programs.
Today, most protocols spend significant amounts of capital trying to attract liquidity, but much of that liquidity disappears as soon as the rewards stop. That makes incentive programs expensive and difficult to sustain.
Nudge approaches the problem differently.
Instead of rewarding only new deposits, Nudge enables protocols to create campaigns that encourage users to move capital between ecosystems while maintaining a similar level of risk exposure. The goal is to make incentive campaigns easier to launch, easier to manage, and more effective for everyone involved.
Long term, we want launching an incentive campaign to be as simple as launching an ad campaign.
Nudge is backed by leading investors across crypto and fintech, including Coinbase Ventures, Brevan Howard , Balderton, BlueYard, Inflection, FinTech Collective, and others. Their support has allowed us to focus on building the infrastructure for the next generation of on-chain incentive markets.
A big part of how we think about incentives comes from something we call the Fat User Thesis.
For years, crypto has focused on creating value for protocols. We believe the next phase creates more value for users. In an open ecosystem where switching costs are low, users become the scarce resource, and incentives should be designed around them.
Why Nouns?
We've followed Nouns for a long time.
Nouns has built a reputation for backing ambitious ideas and giving builders room to experiment. Whether it's public goods, governance, or new community initiatives, that willingness to try new things is one of the reasons we're here.
This isn't about putting a Nouns logo on our website.
We're interested in building a real relationship with the DAO and contributing to the ecosystem over the long term.

Priced portionTreasuryAnnual staking yield
Spending is priced the same way the Coffer prices the treasury: today's prices, today's balances. Moving money between the DAO's own wallets, setting approval limits and swapping one asset for another do not count as spending. NFTs and calls whose effect is unknown are left unpriced.
The yearly staking yield takes what is staked right now at its current rate for one year. It leaves out auction income, price moves and any change to the balances or rates.
Action 1: A current ETH price is unavailable.
A current treasury and staking-yield benchmark is unavailable.

How a proposal moves through the governor
The proposer can still edit for a short while after posting. Then it waits for voting to open. Voting runs for a set number of days. If the result flips near the end, an objection period opens where only Against votes are allowed.
To pass, a proposal needs two things at the close: at least as many For votes as the quorum, and more For than Against. The quorum is not fixed. It starts at a minimum and rises with every Against vote, up to a cap, so a contested proposal needs more support than a quiet one.
A passed proposal waits in a timelock, then anyone can execute it until its grace period runs out. The proposer can cancel any time before that. The vetoer can veto a malicious one.
